How to set up SORA

  1. 1Log in to a Chromebook or Desktop to set up your SORA account.
  2. 2Open a new window and find the Sora icon at the bottom of the Google waffle (the 9 small dots in the upper right-hand corner).
  3. 3Click the large green button and "Sign in with Google."
  4. 4Open the menu (3 lines) at the top right corner.
  5. 5Click "+ Add Library."
  6. 6Search "City of Santa Clarita Public Library."
  7. 7Click "This is my library."
  8. 8Choose any book and open it.
  9. 9Click "Borrow" (this will not actually borrow the book).
  10. 10Select "William S Hart Union High School District" from the drop-down menu.
  11. 11"Sign in with Google."

SORA is free for all WRHS students. You can also borrow from the City of Santa Clarita Public Library through the same app.
